I can't believe that its almost Christmas - 2 sleeps and it'll be here. As much as I love Christmas (and I really love it!!!) I can't wait to put my feet up and have some time with my family.
Of course in true Betty Bake style from now until Christmas morning there will be baking and cooking and happiness going on in my kitchen. Soft vanilla sponge cake, sun drenched cherries, fluffy coconut cream, dark chocolate and orange rind and spices (my kind of trifle) and gluten-free + dairy-free. Plus there will also be things like salad and smokey gammon.
There are Christmas crackers to be made and last minute presents to wrap but thank goodness only a few (most have been done already). The Christmas tunes are playing, smells are wafting and Im thinking how cool this little space on the internet can be because of you all. I've been thinking about what you all maybe cooking, what Christmas traditions you may have and what Christmas may be like in your home.
On that note, I would like to say a huge thank you and Merry Christmas to you, I really appreciate you all. May your home be merry and bright and filled with love this Christmas.
