REVIEW That Sugar Book by Damon Gameau

Overview
This book is for anyone who means business about their health. Not only is it very educational it clearly walks you down a path of what kinds of sugar there are in the world BUT also the health community is eating... The so called "healthy" snacks we all think we are doing so well with-in our kids lunch boxes and snacks. Things like fruit juices and health bars etc... I mean they are healthy aren't they???  Well surprise surprise we may not be that healthy after all.

I loved the fun style of this book - Which is based on a documentary called: That Sugar Film. so this is the print version called (taa-daa) That Sugar Book. 

It is done in a very playful manner and uses fun imagery and cartoon-like pictures in places. And because I love cookbooks, this book does have some recipes at the end for you to try out so you have some ideas of what to make and eat after all the education you have just learned after all the reading.

Recipes to watch out for

Raw Fig and Coconut Cake dubbed the Once a year Birthday Cake in the book... it looks delicious and I would want it more than once a year.
The Macadamia Nut-Crusted Fish looks like a nifty dinner meal - the mix of macadamia nuts with the fish would pair so nicely.
I think an easy side dish or lunch dish would be the Courgette And Pea Fritters with Side Tomato Salad - I can see quick lunches after school and left overs for lunch boxes - YUM!
