Recently I (and a partner) had the opportunity to eat and stay at the 15 On Orange Hotel in Cape Town.
The Stay and feel of the Hotel
15 on Orange has a mix of modern and chic opulence. Think Giant bath tubs and luxurious carpets and bedding.
The hotel really has a well finished feel. There is beautiful marble everywhere and chandeliers and vast ceilings. I love chandeliers and could have put one in my hand bag ;) although I don't think my car was even big enough to fit one of these as they where huge! - and so pretty.
I couldn't resist thinking what a cute booth this is in the bar area. And if you look up.... beautiful chandeliers.
The Food
15 On Orange has recently relaunched their Sunday lunch with bubbly (once a month)
Its a beautiful buffet with bottomless bubbly (Graham Beck bubbles) and a mountain of food and desserts.
Included in the price is your parking at the hotel and kids under 12 eat for free.
There is such a variety of food! and even if you are a picky eater there is something for you! From seafood to cheeses and a variety of hot and cold dishes. I think the photos speak for themselves here.
The waiters really aren't shy with the bubbly and should they spot your glass empty they will promptly top it up again.
The desserts - Oh the desserts!!! I mean just take a look! The pic below is only a tiny bit of the dessert buffet! - its carries on and is filled beautiful little bites of chocolate and creaminess... Yes I love dessert (especially ones not high in sugar).
I ate more desserts and less food.... cause I just LOVE chocolate and who doesn't want to act like a kid and eat dessert all day long? I ate some food (just a little) - how adult of me? ;) and then I tucked into the most beautiful and creamy but not overly sweet desserts!!! I loved that they weren't so sweet - as I really didn't want a giant sugar spike...
My advice is don't eat breakfast and go really hungry so you can taste a little of everything
Location
Being located in Cape Towns city center you are able to walk all over. We wandered around the Cape Town City Gardens right next to the museum and planetarium. Below is a view of part of the city taken from the roof of the hotel.
My thoughts
Visiting and staying at a hotel is always a treat - and 15 On Orange was exactly that... a lovely place to relax and feel spoilt.
PS If you're going for Sunday lunch - go hungry so you can fit everything ;)

PLEASE NOTE: I was invited to stay and eat at 15 On Orange Hotel. I was not paid to blog about this and all photos and opinions are my own.
